Wisdom Circles

Across cultures and throughout time, human beings have gathered in circles to listen, remember, and belong. From elder councils to women’s circles and ceremonial gatherings, the circle has long been a sacred structure for shared wisdom and collective care.

In many Indigenous communities in Colombia, these gatherings are known as Círculos de Palabra—circles of the spoken word. They are moments set apart to speak with truth, listen with respect, and strengthen the fabric of community. Joy and grief are welcomed equally. No one stands above another. The circle itself becomes the teacher.

Bridgepath Wisdom Circles carry this lineage forward in both live and virtual spaces. Some gatherings are held in partnership with Indigenous wisdom keepers, including sessions with Wiwa Saga Ana of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and Tiba Edilberto Mendosa Ruiz from the Muisca lineage of Cundinamarca, who have joined us via Zoom to share ancestral perspectives rooted in relationship with land, spirit, and community.

In a world where many people feel isolated, fragmented, or unseen, Wisdom Circles offer a safe and intentional space to slow down, be witnessed, and reconnect—to yourself, to others, and to what truly matters. These circles are about remembering our shared humanity.

Other circles are held in person and integrate embodied practices, reflective dialogue, and gentle ritual drawn from diverse wisdom traditions.

Each gathering invites participants to listen deeply, speak from the heart, and experience the healing power of being in circle—together.
